1981 Alfa Romeo GTV Delta (Delta Autotechnik, Aachen Germany)

I am selling my Delta GTV after 8 years of wonderful ownership.

04-SEP-1981 - First Registered
01-AUG-1990 - re registered - Germany
18-NOV-2005 - re registered - Germany. Then sold by Sporting Cars Erlangen -- www_sportingcars_de
18-MAY-2007 - re registered - Valencia, Spain. Then sold by Antequera Classic Cars - www_antequeraclassic_com
29-SEP-2015 - re registered Cork, Ireland.


Car was bought from Dealership in Valencia Spain in 2015 Antequera Classic ; then imported into Ireland. After extensive mechanical renovation the car was registered on Irish plates. (Irish NCT certificate also issued). This car is used almost daily during good weather; ready to drive!

This car is believed to be an early GTV Delta (early chassis number) - re-manufactured and sold by Delta Autotechnik in Aachen Germany in 1981 (hence the German VIN plate - see photo). This model was factory modified by Delta Autotechnik: including body kit, Ronal A1 wheels, Solex Carburetors with larger (. 145) jets and and 'Delta' replacement cam to bring car to 145 bhp. My car does not have the Delta car cloth seats; but leatherette seats. These models of which only 500 to 800 models were made were sold into German / French market. Engine and body kit is stamped with Delta logo (please see photos).

Supporting documentation / receipts / chassis number available for inspection. Independent inspections also welcome.

Q - is car road legal?
A - yes car is road legal and ready to drive.

Q - Why are you selling
A - I have owned and enjoyed this car for ~ 7 years. I would like to sell her as I wish to buy anther older Alfa Romeo classic :)

Q - Where did you buy this car?
A - As per advert above; I bought it from a dealership in Valencia Spain and had it imported to Ireland.

Q- How is car stored
A- Car is stored all year around in an insulated garage with IR heaters.

Q - Can car be exported from Ireland to France?
A - Yes I'm happy to help arrange export / transport of car on ferry to France.

Q - Is there rust on the car?
A - The Bodywork is near perfect. There is no body nor structural rust what so ever. There is some minor surface rust on some suspension components underneath.

Q - Maintenance?
A - Yes lots. All brake calipers have been replaced within last 4 years. Radiator replaced. Slave cyl replaced. Clutch master cyl replaced. Front wheel bearings. Steering knuckles. All rubber hoses. Regular coolant / oil / filter changes. Carbs (Solex C40) rebuilt and re-tuned professionally. Car passed NCT emission / brake and suspension tests. The Delta Sebring exhaust system has also been replaced with new system.
