Description
This Jaguar XK120 OTS came from the dream of a wealthy enthusiast from Venice: starting from a 1954 OTS car body with left-hand drive in Pastel Green, he undertook an obsessive project in which every single detail was designed to achieve the best performance and driving pleasure, no matter the cost.
The car body in aluminum was purchased in England and adapted by Carrozzeria Quality Cars. Starting from the original engine case, the motor was upgraded with original C-type motorheads, high performance camshafts, SU carburettors with specific calibration. An oversized aluminum radiator was added with an extra cooling circuit, and a specific fuel pump. For the transmission a 5-speed gearbox with hydraulic clutch was chosen, together with a limited-slip differential which was modified with a specific cooling pump, additional circuit and radiator. The whole set-up is revised: mounted on teflon bushings, with uniball steering links and adjustable shock absorbers. The braking system relies on front disc brakes and 2 brake pumps whose action is adjustable between front and rear. The tank is made of aluminum with a quick lock cap. Many customizations have been made to the interiors as well, including a specific rollbar (not pictured).
