Excellent Honda Civic Type R FN2 Fast Road / Track Car
Finished in Milano Red with excellent black/ red fabric interior, this low mileage ‘09 model is in great condition throughout and has had no expense spared. It has a full service history and a full MOT until September 2023 as well as being fully HPI clear.
The standard GT spec includes Front Fog lights, Cruise Control, Dual Zone climate control (just serviced), Remote central locking and alarm, Trip Computer, ESP stability control (switchable), 18" alloy wheels, Leather 3 spoke steering wheel with remote audio controls and multiple airbags.

It has a detailed and extensive service history with no expense spared. When I bought the car I immediately addressed the transmission and suspension. The gearbox was removed and inspected/ overhauled by leading Type R specialist Grinspeed who proclaimed it in excellent shape before fitting an excellent MFactory Race pack Limited Slip Differential, lightweight Flywheel and new genuine clutch. For the suspension a full check was completed and various bushes uprated to Polyurethane before a set of new and class-leading and fully adjustable Meister R coilovers kit were fitted. Once this was done the car was treated to a full geo suspension set-up and is now exceptionally good to drive whatever the road conditions. The tyres have also been changed to new softer compound 651 Sport model providing excellent traction on.

The brakes have also been upgraded with genuine Brembo 4 piston front caliper BBK matched to Ferodo discs and brake pads. The brakes have been matched to a set of HEL braided hoses with everything together providing a phenomenal set-up that provides excellent performance with zero fade (or squeaking) on the road.
The engine is in fantastic shape and has just been fully serviced, also by Grinspeed including new NGK Iridium spark plugs, genuine oil filter and a full check of the valve clearances. There are no leaks and it uses no oil - it performs brilliantly, especially now the new lightweight has been fitted which improves throttle response markedly.
The bodywork and trim are in great condition for their age and everything works as it should with nothing that needs doing. The interior is also in great shape and original, including the correct stereo and floor mats. The two original remote keys, warning triangle and tools are also present.

If you are looking for an original, un-messed with and cherished Type R which has been improved in all key areas whilst remaining its subtle usability, this car would be ideal.
