The car has covered 90, 750 miles and comes with a big folder full of receipts, 2 keys, manuals, radio code and even the sales brochure. Next mot is due on april '23 (last one pass with no advisories). private plate included on sale.
according to 'how many left', there are only 217 gt v6s left on uk roads.
service and maintenance history (last 13 months):
* 87, 525 (07/ 21): cam belt (inc. Water pump), oil, coolant and all filters service;
* 88, 800 (09/ 21): new kw v1 coilovers, including new top wishbones and rear drop links;
* 89, 210 (12/ 21): new battery (yuasa ybx 7027);
* 89, 790 (03/ 22): new spark plugs (ngk) and gaskets;
* 89, 800 (03/ 22): 4 new michelin pilot sport 4; and
* 90, 679 (07/ 22): new rear engine and gearbox mounts and top stabiliser.
the last big service, which included the important cam belt and water pump service, was done only c. 3, 000 miles ago (13 months ago).
i've had enjoyed a few thousand miles of trouble free motoring and the car has never let me down.
tires and wheels:
the desirable 18" jet fin wheels have been refurbished by the previous owner. They are pretty much unmarked and in very good condition.
all four tires have been replaced with michelin ps4 only 900 miles ago and therefore have not experience any noticeable wear (6mm+ of thread available).
engine and gearbox:
the engine is fully standard and has been maintained to a high standard. During my ownership it has been maintained by an alfa specialist.
the gearbox benefits from an aftermarket quaife lsd.
interior:
the black leather seat are in very good condition, and the whole interior in general, is in outstanding condition for its age and mileage. Everything works as expected. Radio is standard but has been modified so you can play music from your phone via bluetooth. The car was fitted from factory with a bose system, which includes a small subwoofer on the boot. For those gt nerds, it comes with the sought after rigid boot floor. Unfortunately, it suffers from the usual intermittent airbag light fault that plagues the gt and 147/ 156 models, most likely caused by a faulty connection under the seat. At the moment it is on.
exterior:
the rosso alfa red paint is in good condition with a strong red colour, as the pictures show. There are a few minor blemishes on the paintwork as expected from a car this age, nothing major and mostly on the bumpers. The negatives exterior wise are that some garage before my ownership jacked the car and clipped the sills (they appear to be solid but they are slightly bent) and that some bubbling appeared surrounding the antenna base. Any potential buyer would probably have missed this so this is me trying to be as transparent as possible. The car was rustproofed early in its life so the chassis is in very good condition. I topped this up before last winter with bilt hamber dynax. The car has been garaged during my ownership.
i am in no rush to sell (i have the space to store it and i am not selling it out of necessity) so i will not entertain stupid offers. I will request proof of insurance for test drives.
