Beschreibung
In immaculate condition throughout. Probably the best available. Recent MOT. Upgraded engine by TT Workshops (366bhp on a rolling road). Beautifully restored by a Bristol specialist between 2010 and 2021 and painted Ferrari Grigio with a maroon hide interior.
First owned by Victor Gauntlett (from 1972 to 1977) chairman of PACE petroleum and later chairman of Aston Martin. Very full history.
This is the final 411 series 2 to be built (out of 61 in total) and is therefore the very last 60s style Bristol with the single headlamps and sloping grill which started with the 408 in 1963.
The 411 series 2 is regarded by many as the most desirable V8 Bristol. Like the Series 1, the series 2 is equipped with the 6. 3 litre engine but only the series 2 has the high lift cam Series E version. Later series of 411 had lowered compression. Having a strong preference for cars equipped with a manual gearbox, I would ideally like to part exchange my 411 for a 6 cylinder Bristol (400, 401, 403 or 405).
