1977 MK2 RS2000 custom. This is an outstanding example in fantastic condition. The gleaming black paint has only a few minor imperfection visible under close scrutiny and all RS decals are in perfect condition. The car has Ziebart rust prevention treatment from new. The 13 inch RS Ronal alloy wheels are immaculate and are shod with Yokohama 175/ 60 tyres. The original 1993cc pinto sits in a very clean, original engine bay and runs strongly and starts on the first turn giving that fabulous sounding rasp from the exhaust. It is coupled to a Ford Type 9, five speed gearbox which delivers the power to the wheels smoothly. The interior is in fantastic condition and, is as Ford intended for this model year, with roll top Recaro seats. The car has been stored in an air chamber and only used occasionally over the last five years.
