1968 Ford Mustang fastback 302 Automatic
Painted Highland Green
It came out the factory as black but in its history in the states changed color to red.
It has been stripped to bare metals and painted Highland Green.
Replacing wings, (Front and rear)
Sills (Both sides)
Light buckets, had cracked so these needed replacing
Replaced Doors and door skins.
Boot Lid
Replaced Front cross member.
Car on a jig to strighten
Removed 70s historic repairs for new panels.
Engine out to address tidying the engine bay and it had a partial rebuild at that point.
At the same time i replaced the 70s seats (That were in the car) for some 67 seats, and i had these recovered.
Over time it’s had a Ididit steering Col put in (The old one had had its day),
Large majority of the interior trim replaced (I still have the old but it needs repairs etc)
New front and rear wiring looms.
New side lights and Turn signal lights
New rubbers
Moto Lita steering wheel.
Stainless steel Fuel tank
Replaced Rad
Various bits of trim.
I also have a large selection of bits including new shocks (Bought by mistake as i didn’t need them !)
It did have an Original B&O shifter from the 60s in but i have removed and put back the org Auto shifter.
It’s a very clean and tidy example, and if you are close to London worth a visit to see.
I’m firm on the price as i think its very reasonable.
