Had this car since 2016. My records only back to the early 1980's. At this time it was owned by a distinguished specialist in aviation medicine. Around 2008 the Renown underwent an extensive refurbishment. A very fine paint job and rechrome gave the car its current Black and Old English White finish. The interior was refreshed, an unleaded head fitted, stainless steel exhaust, thermostatically actuated kenlowe fan, and conversion to alternator. Comes with a DVD of 2008 refurb. In my care, the car fitted with a refurbished inlet manifold, new front & master brake cylinders, new steering idlers, new spare tyre fitted to match the radials upon which MXW770 sits. Renown can serve as a wedding car. I bought it because it's beautiful and updates make a most useful vehicle. Correct starting handle, jack, tyre pump, wheel brace and grease gun are present. Trafficators and separate modern indicators work well. Original radio with car. National Classic Car Show exhibit.
