Here we have the rare opportunity to own (or re-own in some cases) a bike that we all remember from our youth, the Iconic Yamaha FS1-E DX "Fizzie." Our stunning 1976 UK example is finished in the Competition Yellow paint scheme which represented the Kenny Roberts racing colour scheme. It has matching chassis and engine numbers and is showing just 9, 423 miles. It has been fully restored, including an engine rebuild, back to its current condition and is supplied with a host of receipts and old MOT's.
The Yamaha FS1-E has a 49 cc (3. 0 cu in), single cylinder, two-stroke, air-cooled, rotary disc-valved engine with a four-speed gearbox. The FS1-E was the FS1 with the suffix E, which stood for England and DX standing for disk brake model with the 394 UK Type engine. The FS1-E had the ability to be powered by pushbike type pedals since this was a legal requirement for registration as a moped in the United Kingdom
