A huge amount of thought went into the construction of this car. As a B81 straight eight engine was to be used, the chassis was lengthened at the front & reduced at the rear by a similar amount. This allowed for the gear box, bulkhead, steering column & foot pedals to be left in situ in their original positions. This also allows for the radiator to be set back giving the car the correct proportions.
