'P2' Rovers were built over a period of 14 years, interrupted by 5 years of war, between 1934 and 1947, with an essentially standard contemporary design, but incorporating forward thinking that produced a car that was not only technically distinctive, but also it provided the desired quality and comfort at a price other manufacturers could not match. Despite its solid construction, each model not only performed credibly in its own class, but also outperformed similarly capable Sport variants of its competitors.
