Description
This honest and original 80 Avant SE has had a bit of restoration in the 18th months I've owned it, mechanically it is very good and the body is in top condition.
2 litre, 5 speed manual.
Chassis and arches are solid, no signs of major corrosion, the wings and rear quarters have been checked over when both front and rear bumpers have been off. No major rust. Rear light clusters re-sealed. Sills and jacking points are solid. It's had a 'glass in' respray by a previous owner, and this has lifted the original colour nicely. I've fitted a Coupe front bumper and had the rear taken off and resprayed. Rear hatch door is in good condition, no corrosion.
Major service including belt, tensioners, plugs, leads, filters, cam cover gasket, new radiator and thermostat.
Complete suspension overhaul, wishbones, tie rod ends, drop links, shocks, strut mounts/ bearings and 30mm H&R springs fitted. Rare 16" 80 Competition alloys refurbished sitting on Toyo Proxes. Hunters alignment following all this work.
The grey cloth interior is good, very small tear in bolster. Elec sunroof/ windows operating well.
