Description
1980 RHD 2 Door Range Rover project imported from South Africa. All tax and duty paid and NOVA declaration done. Will need a dating certificate obtainaed and Uk registered. It does need a restoration but appears to have a very solid chassis, body and the original 3. 5 V8 engine. nWe will get it up and running this week.
Body - Good chassis as been in a hot dry country. Looks very good on floors, bulkhead inner wings. General bodywork is a bit scruffy and it will need repainted. Tailgate is fairly good with a couple of bits needing repaired round about the hinges. Webasto style sunroof fitted and a searchlight fitted on the roof.
Mechanics - Original 3500 V8 engine which all looks complete. This ran when it was in South Africa and we will get it up and running this week. . Appears to be all standard suspension and brakes.
Interior -Looks fairly originally but again needs tidied up. Dashboard is Ok. Everything is there but just scruffy and quite well used.
Wheels - Aftermarket rims with original spare in back.
Its scruffy but really solid and a very good basis for a project as the chassis is not rotten. Please feel free to come and see it. We can put it up on the ramp if needed. delivery can be arranged if required. Please ask for a quote.
