The Corvette C8 is a worthy successor to the C7
The Chevrolet Corvette C8 debuted on July 18, 2019 as the successor to the Corvette C7. The C8 is the first Corvette with a mid-engine, so that makes the model special. The first production model of the C8 Corvette is the Stingray with its new mid-mounted 6. 2 L LT2 V8 engine producing over 490 horsepower. The Stingray is available as a 2-door targa top or as a hardtop convertible.
The exterior of the new Chevrolet Corvette C8 Stingray has a bold, futuristic look with exotic proportions. But it's still unmistakably a Corvette. The car is sleek and muscular, with an athletic sculptural shape that exudes a sense of movement and power from every angle.
The craftsmanship is on the same level as supercars. Premium materials and attention to detail were key when designing the Stingray. For example, the car is finished on the inside with manually cut and sewn leather components with thick press stitching.
The door handles, trunk and hood are completely concealed for a sleek and streamlined appearance and improved aerodynamics. The all-new LT3 V8 engine is visible through a rear window. The engine can be additionally illuminated with LED lighting.
The new mid-engine layout creates a new interior that incorporates a pair of digital displays for the instrument panel and infotainment system. The arrangement is driver-oriented and separates the driver from the co-driver. There are 3 seat options: GT1, GT2 and Competition Sport. The latter is designed for the serious, track-focused driver.
The Chevrolet Corvette C8 Stingray is designed for superior ride comfort on the highway and well-balanced handling on the track. The new Stingray features fold-over dampers that create new handling characteristics. As a driver you can give direct input for extra control over the car. If you mainly want to make weekend trips by car, the 357-liter trunk offers enough space for a few small weekend bags.
The Corvette C8 is made in the United States at the Bowley Green plant in Kentucky.
This Corvette is "Brand New" and has driven only 10 km. It is executed in the color Orange with a black, partly leather interior. Furthermore, the car has black rims with Michelin tires.
