This is just possibly the best unrestored and original KDX around. Its 222 miles from new have some provenance. I’d say it’s mildly ‘shop soiled’ for it’s 42yrs.
It was dry stored in the dark so has little if any UV damage. No sign of having been off-road.
The plastics shine like new, the seat is like new with period stickers remaining here and there on the body-work. The wheels and frame are all-but unmarked. The tank stickers have started to peel but they’re old
It’s previously had new tyres, bars and it’s suspension servicedIt comes with the original unused silencer.
Papers include an original 2003 American ownership title, a bill of sale from 2013 which reflect its current mileage.
Everything works feeling plush in power and handling when compared to my 1978 Yamaha IT.
It is now UK registered (V5) as an historic vehicle with an age-related registration number.
The new owner will decided what happens to it next but, as is often said “it’s only original once”!
