MG TC 1. 3 Midget Tourer, in Sequoia Cream, with green leather interior.
BACKGROUND
A 1949 built vehicle, which like many is believed to have spent a number of years with military personnel, following which it was first registered for private ownership in 1959. The V5 records just 7 previous owners and the odometer a mere 3211miles (although not warranted). A history file accompanies the vehicle, which includes a selection of invoices for work completed throughout its life.
MECHANICAL
The 1250cc OHV inline 4 cylinder engine starts on the button (literally). The 4 speed manual gearbox operates with ease, including reverse. Regular maintenance appears to have been completed throughout ownership and the TC is of course now MOT and Tax exempt.
EXTERIOR
The paintwork is in very good condition, with only one or two areas of age related patina which look of period for the vehicle. The body tub's ash frame and the underside of the vehicle have been well cared for and can be observed as being in great condition. The doors hinges remain tight and the doors shut as you’d expect.
INTERIOR
The leather seats, carpets, dashboard and other interior trim areas are all in excellent condition throughout. The touring fabric roof is in equally as good condition and operates with ease. Although not imaged, both side doors are also included.
Finding a right hand drive, solid T-series, is becoming more difficulty, so why not take the opportunity to capture this well cared for example.
