Superb Mk 2 Series 2 car, built Dec 69, registered in Jan 1970, and supplied in Blue Mink with black interior. Genuine Lotus, always UK registered, and known to the Lotus Cortina Register. Full ownership history.
Comprehensive body restoration in the late 90’s with full photographic record. Engine extensively rebuilt 2018-19 by Vulcan Engineering using a 711M block. Stainless steel exhaust, new front brakes and suspension struts, clutch, 123 tune ignition and dynolite all fitted around this time. More recently the track control arms have been replaced by NOS items, new front windscreen and rubber, new Lockheed brake servo (original Girling unit comes with the car), refurbished genuine Lotus wheels and new Dunlop tyres. The Weber carbs have been professionally rebuilt and car tuned at Northampton Motorsport - output 120bhp at 5000rpm.
There is a history file with a majority of all previous MoTs/ tax discs since the 1980’s. An exceptional car that drives as good as it looks.
