A VERY rare TRIUMPH T140W TSS 8 valve model, seldom seen for sale anywhere in the world, made in very small numbers in 1982/ 3, has been sat for a wee while and has been recommissioned with all new fluids, oil and brake, gearbox, previous owner has had fair bit of work done to it in the recent past, some off which I can see is new Amal Mk2 carbs , Pazon electronic ignition with new 6v coils, so starting is fairly simple, frame appears to have been repainted, although fuel tank is a bit tatty, Motor also appears to have had some work done to it, of which includes new Morgo oil pump, new sprag for electric start (which works), new clutch, new cylinder liners along with new STD pistons, and cylinder head has been fitted with new valves and guides, appears to be new fork stanchions also as there isn`t the usual scoring on sliders.
Rear shocks are hagons, but because of where it has been stored the RH spring is a bit rusty,
Overall its a nice bike runs well, after riding a TSS its makes a T140 feel like an old nail.
an up to date V5C is present, all matching numbers, also now qualifies for MOT and Road tax exemption,
