Sadly, due to another project I am selling my Lotus Elan 26R race car project.
A great opportunity to build a ultra rare racing 26r Lotus Elan or road car.
A very sound barn find 1965 Lotus Elan S2 / 26r original chassis, good body and documents.
Documents : ( US Title) etc and original chassis plate CH NO 26/ …. to register.
Also listed on the Elan register. Former well known racer owner.
Windscreen included.
The body although it looks tatty is in fact in very good shape and appears that there is no accident damage etc. no doors but easily available - please ask for details.
Chassis is sound and just needs blasting and painting.
Would make a spectacular road car like Jay Leno’s 26r.
With 26r’s and GTS cars reaching £85k plus this is your chance to add value to an Elan 26r restoration and in my mind there is no better car to restore. The early Elan’s are truly one of the greatest great sports cars, over the years I have had numerous and still run one.
