Description
Ana is a Type 65, that rare breed of Austin Seven, made from June 1933 for about a year with only approximately 275 produced. The body is made from aluminium on an ash-wood frame, with the cycle wings are made of steel.
I've owned Ana for approaching 10 years and she's been great fun. Recent work has included a new battery and complete overhaul of the fuel system. Aside from a pump and carburettor rebuild, this included removal and refurbishment of the tank using the POR-15 lining system. She is now fuel-tight and running sweetly.
Overall she is in sound and useable condition having benefitted from an older restoration. The engine is not original and the interior is a bit scruffy but all there and there is no hood - she's never been out in the rain in my ownership!
Ana comes with a cotton dust cover, large drip tray, 2 spare gearboxes, original side panels, a box of odds and ends and some publications.
I'm very sad to see her go, but downsizing to a house with no garage.
