A useable Riley Special in excellent condition built on a 1931 chassis and fitted with a 12/ 4 engine and preselect gearbox. The 2 seater touring bodywork is painted in light grey with maroon wheels shod in new Blockley tyres.
The cabin, trimmed in red leather and carpet, has been well designed with comfortable thick padded seating and high bodyline giving good knee clearance beneath the dashboard to accommodate taller drivers. The hood can be folded down and stowed with a hood bag or alternately removed completely with a separate tonneau to cover the large rear load space. There is plenty of space in the rear to accommodate luggage for longer distances.
The car drives and pulls well, the 12/ 4 engine giving good performance and able to cruise happily at 60mph and beyond. An inline water pump and electric fan are fitted to aid in warmer climate cooling or traffic.
An easy to drive special with a comfortable cabin and generous load space, ready to go and be enjoyed in the coming Summer.
