The Maserati Mistral, designated Tipo AM 109 in the factory, was drawn by Prietro Frua. The body, which sits on a lightweight chassis, is built of steel. Doors and hood are made of aluminum. The coveted 4-liter engine of this car with 265 hp already reached a top speed of 255 km/ h at that time.
This Mistral was one of the first to be built by the factory with the increased displacement 4. 0-liter engine. From 1966 until 2007, i. e., 41 years, the Mistral was owned by its first owner, the Moretti family in Italy. It was sold by the daughter of the first owner to a Maserati collector in Germany.
