A completely original and unmolested example of the iconic Mercedes-Benz R107 420SL that has undergone a recent extensive mechanical, structural, paint and interior restoration.
One of the rarest versions of the last “Facelift” revision of this model, it comes complete with the hard top and a black soft top.
The 4. 2 litre V8 engine is smooth and quiet having had an extensive overhaul including fuel system, all timing gear & valve seals. The bulkhead has been inspected, re-painted and rust proofed. Re-finished in the original Thistle Green with matching hard top, it has the contrasting cream beige leather seats which have been re-connolised and new carpets have been fitted throughout. Over £10, 000 has been spent to bring this car to a very high standard.
