The car was completely restored in June 1999 with the following elements:
- Engine: 351 Cleveland, 4 main bolt mains and high performance open chamber heads, 10. 7 to 1 pistons, competition cam, polished Offenhauser intake, 650 CFM Holley quad carburetor, fluid damper balancer, roller followers , Moly pushrods and rocker arms, Edelbrock air cleaner, Summit Racing electric fuel pump and gauge, 10 gallon oil pan, and stainless steel hardware used on exposed surfaces.
- To make the sound of this V8 extraordinary, a new Flowmaster exhaust system was fitted.
- Gearbox and chassis: German 5-speed POSI 310 Gear by ZF transaxle gearbox (like that of the Ford GT40), Wilwood Dynalite disc braking system on all 4 wheels, braided brake lines, oversized master cylinder.
- Bodywork: L-model bumper modified to European spec, center wing and rear deck wing removed, car also received a partial fresh coat of paint.
- Engine compartment and bonnet area painted with Imron, Ruby Pearl painted bodywork, billet aluminum rims.
- This DeTomaso Pantera is a very good specimen.
- Its stunning body finished in Ruby Pearl and the mechanics are in very good condition.
