Description
Bought 10 years ago from its second owner near Heathrow, I sympathetically restored it, keeping it's lovely original patina. I changed the handlebars to the higher American spec which I find much nicer. I refreshed the engine with a new genuine cam chain and piston rings, and ground in the valves. It needed new tyres after languishing years.
Reg. historic so tax/ MOT free it's a nice sounding motor and runs nicely on super unleaded. I have very little history apart from mine, 4 MOT passes and my own maintenance over the last few years.
I stopped riding it in 2019 because I had just completed a similar bike, and with 9 others, you can't ride them all. I did drain the fuel system though, so it will probably just need a refill and a new battery, no doubt. The seat is nice with just a couple of knicks and the chrome cleans up pretty well.
Anyway, I am selling most of my bikes and downsizing due to retirement. I have a CD 175 to go as well, also good and a similar price. David.
