A very neat, very lively little car, ‘Bertie’ is looking for a new home as I have too many cars!
Bertie is a rare little car, an A40 Farina mk2, and is apparently one of only two 1964 cars on the road. Bertie has been a member of the A40 Farina club, even before my ownership, and has benefitted from the Club’s extensive parts scheme, making him as near original as you can get, and has been maintained to a very high standard.
In my ownership Bertie has had a thorough programme of care: underside was cleaned and ‘waxoyled’, body has had a bare metal respray in original colours, engine has been tuned and runs very sweetly, the original interior is clean with everything working as it should.
I’ve fitted Pirelli Cinturato tyres all round, and they really make a difference to the handling, far superior to that from ‘modern’ tyres.
If you are looking for a very neat, tidy and solid piece of British motoring history Bertie is a sound investment and will come with a MOT certificate.
