Vehicle history:
In 1955, this chassis left the Modena factory and was completed a short time later with an Allemano body as the Berlina A6G 2000/ C. After being presented in Paris at the Salon de L 'Automobile, the beautiful vehicle was shipped to New York. Upon delivery to its first customer, the body burned completely. An electronics failure caused a short circuit. In 1972, the chassis was offered without body in the New York Times. In 1995, the chassis was purchased by an American collector. In 2015, the reconstruction was completed using the chassis of the original A6 Zagato body stored in England of the example with which Stirling Moss participated in the 1956 Mille Miglia (starting number 318).
In 2017 and 2020, the car, now completed again, participated in the Mille Miglia.
