Description
Ford Escort Mk3 1. 6 Ghia. Last owner 10 years been dry stored for the last 5. Car is very solid and starts runs and drives but will need a little work to get it back on the road.
Body - MK3 Escort 4 door with XR3 front splitter and XR3 rear spoiler. Not a bad looking car overall. Has had rear arches done in the past and some paintwork but it is 37 years old. Underneath is very good with no welding needed. Small bit of bubbling on the scuttle panel. Orion front grille fitted and XR3 Bumpers.
Mechanics - Good quiet engine. Car starts runs and drives but unsure when the timing belt was last done. Clutch and brakes are ok. We had a garage look it over for MOT and it will need the handbrake adjusted / unseized. It works but not good enough. Exhaust centre silencer is blowing and headlight aim is high. If it doesnt sell fairly quickly we will do the work and readvertise it at a higher price.
Interior - All standard ghia. Good seats and door cards. Minor cracks on dash but not too back. Good carpet and headlining
Wheels - Tidy Rs Turbo alloys with good tyres.
