Ownership:
The car was ordered new back in 1997 by a Mr Munroe.
Mr Munroe specced the car in this colour to match a Mclaren he 'owned'. This is where the story gets interesting, as Mr Munroe subsequently spent some time at one of Her Majesty's residences, and I don't mean Balmoral.... All of his toys, including the Aston were taken away and auctioned off, and that's how the car came into the position of Mr Allen.
The car has had 5 owners in total, the current owner for 6yrs and prior to that the car was Jersey based with Mr Storm since 2003, and I believe that has a connection to the Guinness family. Prior to that, it was Mr Allen who acquired the car in April 2000 via the Aston dealer that was involved in the auctioning off of the first owner's car collection.
Mr Allen has recently been in touch and has been kind enough to update some of the information on his ownership and how he came to be the custodian.
Unfortunately, I don’t have records of the second owner at this time, but I think it might have been dealer-registered due to what happened to the first owner.

The car was the subject of an engine rebuild at Aston Martin while owned by Mr Allen, and this was done under warranty due to an issue with a liner dropping. It was a full rebuild and was costed at £30, 000. The car had done approximately 20, 000 miles at the time. There are no records in the file for this work, but Mr Allen's email covers all the details.
The history file also contains copies of the original factory build sheet/ order, plus all of the original Aston handbooks.
Condition:
As you will see from the detailed photos and videos, the car has remained in excellent all round condition, some 27yrs on from leaving the gates at Newport Pagnell. The interior is so beautifully preserved, it just invites you in for a drive.
There is the odd small blemish, as you’ll be able to view on the photos.
Please feel free to call, email or WhatsApp with any questions, or should you wish to view the car. It’s currently with the owner in The Peak District. Any inspection is welcome.
Part Exchanges will be considered, please forward information should that be applicable.
Export – Happy to help with the export, and you’ll be able to get a shipping quote on my Global Sales Page.
My Opinion - These cars are currently undervalued in the market. This is among the last of the Aston Martins that were built like this and will inevitably rise in years to come.
