This Sovereign is the only XJ40 to have, it passed the mot (11th July) with no advisories, she is in really good condition and very reliable. We have our own workshop where we restore Jag Mark 2's and E types. We upgraded this car with new lattice alloy wheels and tyres, the power steering system has been rebuilt to as new. a new centre console wood fascia, new discs and pads, new oil filter, new air filter, new spark plugs, oil changed to the more expensive Magnatec 10/ 40. The radio was upgraded to a Kenwood Digital radio with a mic fitted inside for receiving and sending mobile phone calls. It passed the m. o. t. first time due to the maintenance schedule applied in our workshop. It's owned by the club chairman Joe Browne whom has owned 9 of these and is now looking for a change.
