It's a late production model of the first version, true to the vision of its creative designer, the former chief designer Bruno Sacco. It features the color 199 "Blau Schwarz" metallic, along with Brilliantsilber and Rauchsilber, the iconic Mercedes-Benz colors of the 1990s. The interior is a rare and seldomly seen combination, making it even more special today. It boasts a Black fabric interior with the distinctive sport pattern, in line with the sporty image of the R129 and its counterparts, such as the 16V models of the W201. The car is in excellent condition and drives superbly. This is largely due to the revolutionary 6-cylinder inline engine that produces 197 hp, which was truly cutting-edge for its time. The engine is paired with an equally revolutionary 5-speed automatic transmission. Together with a festive suspension, integral seats, and a handling that many contemporary cars envy, this car becomes a delight to drive.
