This R129 SL280 has the last of the straight-six engines, before the V6 took its place. The character of this engine shows in its low-down torque, delivered with economy. This is simple, not complicated version of the R129 range.
This SL is currently part of a collection: it has had few owners, and has low average mileage.
It has the usual benefits of air-conditioning, cruise control, and the soft top is raised or lowered at the touch of a button.
