Description
A great example of a Porsche 944 from the first year of production powered by the at the time all-new 143bhp, 2. 5-litre 8-valve engine. Purchased initially by the previous owners brother over 30 years ago from Monarch Cars of Little Aston this car has been kept between very few owners. Finished in Sienna Red Metallic and dealer-fitted with the body kit/ side skirts & chrome footplates, the car has new paint on the bonnet and front bumper due to lacquer peeling, the condition appears very good. The interior is very good with the replacement of the original seats with some sportier, comfier bucket seats and a heritage series Momo Prototipo steering wheel. The engine bay also presents very well. The car sits on its original 'Cookie Cutter' alloys which have been powder coated recently for ease of maintenance wearing Pirelli P6000-style tyres. Well maintained throughout with OPC Sutton Coldfield and latterly OPC Wolverhampton. Magazine featured in Popular Classics (Feb 1993), Practical Classics and Classic Car Weekly. The car has covered 135, 000 miles supported by an expansive history file and the tachometer has been replaced with the original one being kept with the car.
