Description
Barn find! Genuine and rare 1970-manufactured Jaguar XJ6 Series 1 with the 2. 8 litre 6-cylinder legendary XK engine, manual transmission and overdrive. The coachwork is in British Racing Green and it has black upholstery. The car has had only one owner from new, has papers and the original driver’s handbook, but no service history. The car has been off the road and stored for about a quarter of a century and has only 45, 301 recorded miles (believed to be genuine) on the clock. She has chrome gauge bezels and original period radio. There is superficial corrosion on metal and chrome parts and has good tyres but a perfect restoration project. However, unfortunately we do not have the capacity or time do it ourselves, so we are reluctantly selling this old lady as she is and hope to find an enthusiast who will bring her back to her former glory! Open to offers around the £1, 000 mark if UK and cost to ship to UK and clear with DVLC etc is about £3, 000 plus duty (believe to be 5%). Jeff's Jags is a specialist, traditional Jaguar and Daimler only garage in Johannesburg, where we service, repair, restore and sell Jaguars and Daimlers of all ages and we’re able to arrange export to anywhere in the world.
