Description
In my humble opinion the late 70s early 80s Honda CB900F has to be one of the best buys on the classic Japanese motorcycle market today and is currently vastly undervalued. This particular bike is a rare FD model, so the last of the range with its rubber mounted and for this model only, black finished engine, new design wheels replacing the old ComStars and heavier duty front forks with Hondas anti dive "Trac" system and a rear grab rail. When purchased by its last owner it had previously spent years off the road with a gear box fault and needed a fair bit of work cosmetically. Over the next few years he went over the bike, sorted out the cosmetics and mechanics including transplanting another engine from a doner bike of the same model with not only a good gearbox but lower miles on it as well ( he also used that bikes speedo so it shows the miles the motor has done, we have the original clock) and added some nice period after market bits.
Now no not perfect but looking and sounding very nice . A great classic super bike for less than a new Chinese 125!!
