The S-Type was a major redevelopment of the Mark 2. It used a mid-scale version of the superb E-type/ Mark X independent rear suspension to replace the Mark 2's live rear axle and featured longer rear bodywork, among other styling and interior changes. More luxurious interior, a distinctive front end and independent rear suspension took the S-type onto a different level of ride and handling. We are pleased to offer this two owner from new 3. 4 example (Oct 65 to Sep 21 + Sept 21 to date), which is equipped with the 3. 4 litre XK engine and Borg Warner automatic transmission. Finished in Warwick Grey with deep red leather interior and sitting on wire wheels with chrome spinners, this S-type oozes classic understatement. Presented in excellent condition with nice straight bodywork and really beautiful interior, clean wire wheels with excellent tyres, the car is offered complete with invoices showing previous mechanical works and repolishing of woodwork, old V5, two owners manuals and current V5. The original steering wheel and other spares come with the motorcar.
