This car was delivered new in 1980 by garage Mercier, a Ferrari importer, in August 1980. It was sold two years later to its second owner, who kept it until 2013, after which it was owned by a gentleman until 2019, when the current owner purchased it.
This is a rare GTS version (255hp), carburettors, Boxer paintwork, with a transparent and crystal-clear history, coming out of a major overhaul (bills of more than 19, 000 euros: carburettors, clutch, timing, sealing, etc.) that we are offering you today. Exterior: The paintwork is tight and smooth, in its original colour. The archives contain photos of the car since 2004 with its Boxer colour, and this specific feature is noted and listed in the various Ferrari 308 registers. Interior: The interior, with its Bordeaux seats, is absolutely superb. These have recently been redone. All the electrics work, and the car is fitted with air conditioning as standard. The car is also fitted with its original Blaupunkt Nürnberg car radio. The Targa roof fits perfectly with the bodywork. We also note the presence of the tool kit and the original jack.
