Offered here is a superb 1987 Ford Sierra Cosworth presented in Diamond White with the original specification cloth Recaro seats and riding on its original 15-inch alloy wheels. This is an exciting 1980s hot hatch icon, which remains in very good order, and features a few choice upgrades. Under the bonnet sits Cosworth’s turbocharged 2. 0-litre 16-valve engine, paired with a five-speed manual transmission, which has been upgraded to around 350bhp by Norris Motorsport. Other modifications include Koni suspension, a large conical air filter, alloy header tank, Forge dump valve, and a full Mongoose exhaust system.
The paintwork is believed to be largely original and is in very good condition for its age, with only minor age-related marks. It has been regularly cleaned and detailed by the current owner.
All of the grey cloth upholstery is in good order, with no rips or tears, and only the odd scuff and age-related sagging of the fabric; but again it remains original and very well preserved.
There are no known mechanical or electrical faults.
The most recent MOT test was on 8th June 2023 at 97, 006 miles, which was a pass with no advisories. Accompanying the car is the original owner certificate, warranty plan book, stamped service record, and various paperwork. 21 stamps are shown in the original service booklet, most recently a full service and cambelt change only 400 miles ago.
