It was built after careful consultation of documents and photos of one of the 109 Porsche 3. 0 RS built. Every detail of this car was reproduced identically. Condition: General: In 2017, a survey was carried out on the car, confirming its perfect condition. The analysis highlighted the high quality of the workmanship, both for the bodywork and the mechanics, with particular attention paid to detail. Photos of the build are also available. Today, the car is ready to race on the finest circuits. Exterior: The bodywork is in very good condition. We note only a slight dent in the left side skirt. The paintwork is in excellent condition, as are the headlights and 9" and 11" wheels. Note that the car has been fitted with RS wings, not turbo wings. Interior: On board, the car is of course empty and has a full roll bar. The bucket seat is in excellent condition. It is fitted with an RS pedal unit with splitter, RS dashboard and door window openings as they were at the time.
Mechanicals: The 294 bhp Bosch mechanical injection engine starts perfectly and delivers its full power. (crankcase 930. 101. 104. 5R 3. 2, as in the PTH). The 915-type close-ratio gearbox with autoblocking doesn't stick and enables efficient gear changes.
As previously mentioned, meticulous attention has been paid to every detail, so that they are reproduced identically: anti-roll bar, steel rear arm, large bearings, spring-combination suspension, large shock absorber pods, 930 brakes and callipers with floating discs on bowls, handbrake with RS aluminium clamps, all RS body reinforcements, large RS oil cooler, etc. It has also been fitted with a new, optimised electrical circuit with all circuits protected by circuit breakers.
