1954 Bentley R-Type Continental Fastback
by HJ Mulliner. Chassis Number BC58C. This lovely example won "Best Car in Show" at the 2020 Rolls-Royce Enthusiasts club South of England Rally. The coachwork is finished in Oxford blue and is in near concourse condition. The interior leatherwork is 90% original with restored woodwork and new headlining and carpets. The car still retains its original fitment of the desirable lightweight seats. The engine is to 4. 9 litres and higher compression ratio of 7. 8 to 1. This upgrade was done by Bentley Motors in 1958 with documentary evidence to prove. The current fastidious owner has owned this car since 2017 and has gone through every aspect and restored or replaced any item that required attention.
