The popularity of the 5T Speed Twin was the main reason Triumph recovered so quickly after WWII
Originally, Speed Twins were built with a rigid frame and girder forks but post-war models were fitted with telesopic forks and a rear sprung hub
This matching numbers example is an older restoration
