This extremely original 1957 Jaguar XK140 MC Roadster is a matching numbers example and an exciting project in need of straightforward restoration. Silver with burgundy leather interior. Just out of a large collection where it has been sitting in storage and is not currently running. A complete car that's highly original and never been restored. This Jaguar is among the desirable Special Equipment or “SE” models, as denoted by the “S” prefix to the chassis number. This example was also fitted with the optional C-Type cylinder head, which increased engine output to a stout 210 bhp. In all, approximately 2, 028 left-hand-drive XK140 Roadsters were factory equipped with both the SE package and C-Type head, a combination often referred to as the “MC” model.
