The 2000-2001 model year Yamaha R1s were the last of the sought after carburettor-engined bikes
These Series 2 bikes had many improvements over the original 1998 models making them lighter, more aerodynamic and more refined
Powered by a 998cc, 150bhp, inline four-cylinder, the R1 had a remarkable turn of speed and the chassis offered class-leading handling making it the must-have superbike throughout the world
This well cared for example has covered 20, 768 miles, is in near 'showroom condition' and confirmed running
The bike retains its original Titanium exhaust silencer and original number plate bracket (commonly removed by owners to make their bike look and sound better)
The bike is supplied with its original toolkit and the optional single-seat cover
