We are very pleased to offer a beautiful 1999 Rover Mini Cooper finished in one of the best Mini colours, Almond Green with a contrasting Porcelain green leather interior. This Cooper has lived a charmed life in Japan and was imported in 2021 with one owner in that time. The condition is absolutely stunning, it has its original gleaming paintwork and panels and has been a pleasure to prepare. It has covered 61 thousand miles and has been lovingly cherished since its return to the UK. Automatic Mini Coopers are very rare especially in this condition and specification.
On the road this Cooper drives very well. The fuel injected engine is almost silent and the Auto gearbox changes gear smoothly and precisely. I have always been a big fan of Auto Minis as they are so much fun to drive and they offer the true Go-kart experience, simply select drive and off you go. the four speed gearbox is nippy round town and also cruises with ease on the open road. Being a fuel injected Mini all you need to do to get out on the open road is turn the key and go. The handling is fantastic and very precise, it will certainly keep you fully engaged and smiling. The Mini also has the added bonus of ice cold Air conditioning, a real treat on those hot sunny days.
The interior is very well presented with a luxury feel with the rare option Porcelain green leather seats with matching door cards, carpets and a Burr walnut door caps. It has its original Walnut dash and original Rover cassette player. The boot area has been fully lined with a bespoke kit and the engine bay is nicely detailed.
The Mini has an amazing shell and is basically untouched underneath and still wearing its factory waxoil. The underside is Almond green as are the inner arches and floor pans. It has all of its original paint and panels and really does belie its 26 year vintage, it could easily sit on display at any show as it gets lots of attention wherever I take it, especially with its colour scheme.
The Mini is fully checked, serviced, driven and tuned and has a long no advisory MOT so is ready to be driven and enjoyed.
