Sport Collection is delighted to be able to offer for sale this magnificent classic Porsche, namely a 2L2 E in an irresistible Targa version! This example has benefited from a top-quality restoration, carried out by qualified craftsmen and with no expense spared. A full dossier on the work is available, and no less than €60, 000 has been spent over the last five years alone! The engine has just been completely overhauled and tuned. It starts up without a hitch and runs perfectly, with no jerks or misfires! A Scart RIVA exhaust system was fitted less than 1, 000 km ago to give the car the perfect metallic sound of its era. The same goes for the gearbox, with the famous downshift! The original Fuchs wheels are in perfect condition, as are the Michelin XWX tyres with their period profile. The certificate of authenticity is available. It should be noted that the gearbox and engine are matched, but that the bodywork and interior colour are not. The 'Light Ivory' has been replaced by the famous Indian red, and the red leather has been replaced by black leather.
The soft rear window has been replaced by a glazed one, as many were at the time, due of course to the soundproofing and water leaks.
