1965 Triumph Thunderbird 650cc 6T Ex North Riding of Yorkshire Police Patrol motorcycle
Matching frame & engine numbers & original transferable registration number
This motorcycle was bought new in 1965 by North Riding Yorkshire Police as a batch of three Thunderbirds with ascending reg numbers
There is a letter & photo's with the history of the bike from the Police Constable who rode the Thunderbird when it was in service which is an interesting read
The previous owner has owned the Thunderbird since 2012 & has decided the time was right to part with it due to lack of use in recent years
Stainless steel rims & spokes & electronic ignition have been fitted
Overhall this is a nice but not immaculate example with some nice history
Everything works clutch gears brakes & charging system but I would recommend some light recommissioning due to lack of use in recent years
