A fabulous example used regularly , 1928 ROLLS ROYCE 20HP TOURER. 897 EFD. CHASSIS NUMBER GUJ15. An attractive and very distinctive Rolls Royce Tourer originally bodied by H. J. Milliner and modified by Southern coachbuilders in the 1930s when it was fitted with a more up to date vertical slat chromed radiator cowl. Acquired by Tom Commander in 1988 the car was owned by him and his wife until 2014. In 1995 it was subject to a comprehensive refurbishment including engine rebuild, retrim, new carpets, hood side screens and tonneaus, in addition it was fitted with an Auster screen for the rear seat passengers. At the rear there is a luggage rack with motoring trunk and wicker picnic basket The car presents very well and is pleasant to drive drawing admiring glances from bystanders. In 2018 the car was purchased by John Humphreys who is now offering it for sale as he has reached his80thBirthday. It comes with a copious file of historic bills and is ready to reach its 100thbirthday with a proud new owner
