1935 was the last year when Standard produced this rather upright vintage looking car, 1936 saw the introduction of the more modern streamlined “Flying Standard” design which would see the company through to the post war era.
This car was purchased by the vendor’s late husband in 1991, over the next few years he totally rebuilt and restored the car to a very high standard, an interesting handwritten log of all his purchases is in the file.
The car has been used extensively over the years for shows and club outings, sadly not used in the last couple of years, a little recommissioning may be required before re-entering service.
