Speedsters are delighted to offer to market this stunning Porsche 914
Only ever made in LHD , but as times has passed people have imported them into the uk, as a result not that many around on the road today, so quite a rare car to find.
This stunning example is a 1972, numbers matching, 1700 cc fuel injection. Only one previous uk owner and current mileage of 42172
Originally imported into the uk in 2014, but has been stored in dry storage up until January 2024 where it was handed over to classic VW specialists (Johnson Autoworks) to re commission ready to be used on the road .
During this period the car underwent extensive mechanical overhaul, with new brakes and fresh hydraulic fluid, new clutch, complete gearbox rebuild, full engine service and tune up, overhaul of the gearbox shift rod and bushes to achieve a solid and positive gear change.
In summary the car’s starts stops and steers as it should !
The bodywork is in willow green its original colour but looks to have been painted back in the states during the early naughties, that being said the bodywork and paint although not perfect still present very well and the car looks great and would hold up well with its contemporary’s in any show!
The only non original parts are the Porsche pressed sill covers and the Porsche fuch alloy wheels both of which go to only enhance and compliment the already iconic style and design .
The seats are in excellent condition and it has benefited from a recent re trim of the carpets.
This is a rare classic today and it’s tough to find one one in this overall ready to go and
respectable condition
