We sold this excellent MGB in 2022 and it's back at Pye Corner because of a house move.
Restored using a Heritage bodyshell in the mid 2000s, this pretty Roadster benefits from an overdrive gearbox, chrome wire wheels, a C. D. player and a full tonneau.
A Weber 45 DCOE carburettor using an Oselli manifold is fitted, and the previous owner believes that the engine has been uprated to Fast-Road specification - the car is noticeably quicker than a standard MGB. It remains tractable and is one of the nicest driving MGBs that we've had. It pulls well and the car feels tight and well sorted.
The B had one owner from 2006 until 2020 and the history file includes invoices from the MG Owners Club workshops and Brown and Gammons showing regular care and maintenance and the invoice from Former Glory for in '06 for the initial purchase. There are also MOT certificates going back to 1996 and photographs of the bodyshell along with a handbook.
Looking very smart on its chrome wire wheels and with a well presented engine bay, this MGB is ready for the off.
